Dancers with their 3 piece band The spurs make a great sound while dancing and the cowboys use these spurs while riding.The cowboys wear shin guards as the rodeo event uses two Huasos (Chilean cowboys) to pin the steer into a padded area at one end of the arena. The horses are fairly small, 12 to 14 hands. This huaso is only 10 years old!The Chilean horse has a unique shape, a convex curve all the way from ears to nose.
